There's a simple way I could do this, make a big portion of my all rounder super green giant, but that would be too easy and mucho boring. The super green giant will be involved mainly due to it containing Kale. Kale is jam packed with nutrients and super low in calories, it's superman disguised as a dreary Clarke Kent.
I'm also using a savory beet root and carrot based recipe, which although It's not my favorite it's palletable.
Ma's Triple C
3 carrots
3 sticks of celery
2 apples
1 beet root
1/2 cucumber
Piece of ginger root (size of your thumb)
Makes about 500ml
Ma's sweet beet treat is prepped for when chocolate is calling my name. It's by no means a substitute but it goes some way to pleasing my sweet tooth.
As I'm only juicing today I'll make around 1.5l and drink a small cup at two to three hourly intervals and graze (if you can call it that) as and when I'm feeling peckish. 1.5l should be more than enough but it's good for me to have extra so I'm not tempted to throw some solid food down the hatch!
